La Escuela Nueva Hoja is non-profit private school for children PreKinder to 8th grade. The school was founded in 2005 and our first school year begins January 30, 2006.

We are located in Puerto Jimenez (next to the Puerto Jimenez Public Library), on the Osa Peninsula of Costa Rica.

We are committed to learning through adventure. Learning starts in the classroom and is expanded upon in the field via projects that bring it all together. These projects are designed by our teachers to complement the students' study plan.

Children are educated using an adventurous blend of classroom, field and community service that makes learning at Nueva Hoja all the more valuable.
