La Escuela Nueva Hoja is non-profit private school for children PreKinder through to 8th grade. Our educators have earned their teaching certificates and/or degrees from a Costa Rican University or from Universities abroad.

We are committed to learning through adventure. Learning starts in the classroom and is expanded upon in the field via projects that bring it all together. These projects are designed by our teachers to complement the students' study plan.

English Science and Math are taught in English. Spanish, Social Studies and Earth Wellness will be taught in Spanish. Nueva Hoja curriculum will meet Costa Rican and U.S. proficiency standards. International accreditation can be arranged through Calvert Home School.
